General Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions apply to all engagements undertaken by Trolle Law unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Engagement and identification
Before we take on a new engagement, we are required to identify the client in accordance with the Danish Anti-Money Laundering Act. The information we obtain is used solely for this purpose.
Conflict of interest
We carry out a conflict-of-interest check before we accept a new case. If we identify a conflict, we will inform the client and decline the engagement.
Fees
Our fees are determined on the basis of the time spent, the complexity of the case, the value involved, the result achieved, and the level of responsibility assumed. We provide a fee estimate at the start of the engagement where possible.
Confidentiality
All information you provide to us is treated confidentially in accordance with the rules of professional conduct for Danish attorneys.
Professional liability insurance
Trolle Law is covered by the mandatory professional liability insurance for attorneys with HDI Global Specialty SE. The insurance covers all work carried out by our attorneys.
Complaints
Clients who wish to complain about our handling of a case can contact the attorney responsible for the case. Complaints about fees or professional conduct can also be made to the Disciplinary Board of the Danish Bar and Law Society.
